OVEREXPOSED

Overexposed was a month long event which consisted of an exhibition, talks and performances. The visual language consists of striking imagery that has been edited and collated to have a strong impact. The photos selected are from times when women have been put on exhibit for entertainment, some by choice and some not. The media is obsessed with women but not always in a positive way.

For the catalogue I selected works by female writers, myself included, who used examples of popular culture to explain theories related to my topic. The typography is simple as I wanted the imagery to do most of the talking.
